I have my serious doubts of the ‘whiteness’ of the Sri Lankan media. But, it’s worrying to see how the powers are trying to control the ‘few’ outlets that people have to express their views!

Just like all past governments, present regime seems to ‘fear’ any form of criticism or dissent. Why? Why are the people in power so bloody scared of differing opinions? Don’t they realize it is absolutely necessary for good governance? (‘Good Governance’ – I must be dreaming!)

Why do the leaders think that they NEED to control the ‘information’ so badly? Do they think that the people are so bloody stupid? We all know what a bunch our politicians are, those in power and those in opposition without exception. We all know what a bunch of power craving, corrupt, thieves most of them are… it’s just that we haven’t got a bloody alternative in finding some decent people to ‘lead and represent’ us!

This is what makes us go and vote for the ‘least – Bad – Johnny’ once in every five years… They should know by now that we vote for them NOT because they are GOOD, but because the OTHERS’ are fucking worse than THEM!

Oh how I yearn for a ‘WORLD DEVOID OF POLITICIANS’!

Hence, the JVP (for the fist-time in history) joined the mega-loser Ranil and the lot who pussyfoot with the LTTE...
This will be last time that the 'common people' of this country will trust the JVP...

Somawansa may retire from politics...
Tivilin Silva and the hard-core 'comrades' who find it hard to give up their opportunistic stance in favour of the people and the nation will slide slowly and surely into oblivion...

So then, Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, crossed the floor of the House and joined the opposition demanding tougher action against corruption by politicians and state officials?

Oh, how sweet...! Now he's in the other 'Thieves Den' - UNP. Didn't he name some hardcoreUNPers' in his COPE report? So what now?

Ooi, UNP is more corrupt than the Government and the Government is more corrupt than the UNP...!

It's impossible to find which side is more corrupt. As if they are competing against eachother to be more corrupt than the other!

I give him the full credit for the COPE report. But this is not on. This is a joke of the lowest standard!

So, if Wijeyadasa wants to make a stand, get the fuck out of the parliament and do something useful for the country in some other way, without insulting the publics' intelligence!
